West Shores is a 640-acre residential lake community nestled at the intersection of Highway 275 and West Dodge Road in Waterloo, Nebraska. West Shores features a 206-acre sand bottom lake and marina with 242 residential lake lots and 49 off lake residential "villa" lots.

Neighborhood amenities include a state of the art children's park and walking trail, recreational island and a marina with fuel pumps. A privately owned commercial building at the marina features an event center, a restaurant and several small businesses.
